Boot Camp VS. One on One Mentoring

+

You know folks it’s not even a fair fight but I had to write this article because I just got an email from a guy that wants me to mentor him and he told me the same story I hear all the time. It seems this gentleman spent $10,000 and 5 days in a hotel ballroom with several experts and was injected with every real estate methodology know to man. I want to say up front that the education was probably good and all the bases were probably covered. For TEN GRAND that better be the case.

Anyway my guy spends $10,000 and 5 days of his life and emails me that he can’t get a deal done. Now folks I’m sure the information he received was good but boot camps generally are classroom situations and even if you go on an outing with your instructors you only get to experience a few looks at different types of deals. This is a good exercise but limited in time and scope. Here’s the problem with boot camps, when they’re over the real world rears its ugly head. All those lessons, role playing, scripts, and visits to houses with knowledgeable instructors fade as the real thing closes in on the new investor.

Now the boot camp graduate has to deal with life in the fast lane all on his own armed with scripts, contracts, and all the other great stuff that he forked over ten grand for. Therein lies the problem and it’s a big one for the vast majority of new real estate investors. Here’s the deal people, life ain’t a boot camp!

Ok, so let’s get down to it. When a boot camp graduate has a problem he goes to his shelf and pulls out a manual and hopes the cure is in there. When my students have a problem they call me and I walk them through it. When a boot camp graduate goes out there to do his thing he’s going blind but when my students go out there I’ve personally walked them through it step by step. When a boot camp graduate talks to his first prospect he’s reading from a script but when my students get a prospect lined up they get to listen to me do it the right way until they can go it alone. Are you getting the idea? Mentoring is about people interacting with each other on a one on one basis and walking down the road together. Boot camps are about walking down the road with scripts, CD’s, and videos that do not have the power to deal with what’s happening in the moment.

Simply put there is no better way to learn than by having a mentor at your side keeping you out of trouble and moving in the right direction. So I hope you’re ready because now comes my pitch. Oh, come on now you knew it was coming!

I offer one on one mentoring so as long as I’m around you can get help. My program is called The Earn While You Learn Lease Option Mentoring Program and it’s designed to keep you from suffering sticker shock for my services. We agree to joint venture a minimum of 5 deals together which I walk you through and we split the profits.

You get to learn while you earn and I get to be paid for my services. I bring 20 years of experience in lease options and wholesaling to the table and I’ve yet to see a CD that can

make that claim. But wait there’s a catch. You knew that was coming as well didn’t you? It’s a big one folks so I hope you’re sitting down.

You’re going to have to fork over a whopping $97.00 for the manual that I created to compliment my mentoring. The mentoring is free but you need the manual so that I don’t have to drive myself crazy answering the basic questions that you will have that my manual will cover. I want to spend my time doing deals with you not telling you how to place a Craig’s List Ad.

So as I’ve said in other articles, the ball is in your court. You can choose the$10,000 boot camp or the $97.00 me. Personally I think it’s a no brainer!
